About the Photographer

    I grew up in a household that was crazy with animals.  Not just your normal dogs and cats either (although there were plenty of those).  Everything from monkeys to skunks to wolves to rattlesnakes....etc.  Well, when you grow up like that you either love animals or you hate them.  Yeah you guessed it I love them!  I think they are more interesting than most people....no offense intended ;)  

     After getting my first DSLR camera in 2004,  I found animals to be my favorite subjects.  Soon I discovered that taking photographs was a great way to appreciate them without having to own them all (my husband is very happy about this also!). 

     With my work I hope to capture just a bit of what it is that makes each animal special.   And in this way to pay tribute to all they give us.  Which is nothing less than everything.......
